Scam by telecom providers on the pretext of aadhar linking of mobile numbers

My family is a >5 years customer of Vodafone India. Infact, my inlaws too use Vodafone connection. initially my wife and my in-laws went. My father-in law is old and both of them are not into so much technicalities.

So the vodafone store customer support representative convinced them to get Aadhar link you need to get post paid connection other wise it will not work and converted all of them into plan 149 per month rental postpaid customer.

They told my wife and in-laws that they can easily convert it after 3 months as per rule to prepaid connection. Now they have turned away my wife stating that they dont have a "back end staff" to "verify". They wee supposed to provide a conversion form (every company has their own respective conversion form). I will update this post once I get further update on the same.

Please people be informed:-
1) to link your Aadhar you dont need to change your scheme
2) If you have been fooled like us, please use discretion and know that all customer support staff login through a database (CRM - Customer Relationship Management Software) to update your records based on the permissions allowed to each used group based on the permission allowed to them by database administrator.
3) Please get hold of the postpaid to prepaid conversion form and after processing of the same you will get a new SIM card. Like the time you got SIM for the first time or at the time of conversion from prepaid to postpaid when Vodafone or other such telecom provider defrauded you.
