Benfomet parenzyme amulozyme franzyame epitril job fraud: Learning How to Understand and tools to check A Fake Company, Website and fake Job offer

The fraud has 2 parts to it:-

A) A Job offer

1) Job listing in Naukri, placementindia, aasanjobs and several other small players.

2) Once you apply only then they contact you after profiling your past Resume

3) They offer you a relevant job role with compatible salary with same day with 2-3 rounds of interview starting with HR raound followed by a conference call which you have to call to a free conference calling service/app and give an interview to someone from Bangalore/Mumbai,etc. The call money will be deducted from your pocket. It's neither technical nor non-technical enough to raise suspicion

4) They ask for a professional certification which you dont have may be IBM SPSS data modeler, or SAS certification

5) They ask a training institute to contact you and get your certification at the earliest. The  so called HRs - Ravindra Singh (ravindra.s@benfomet.com), Devesh Sidhraj (Devesh.s@benfomet.com), Sidharth jha(Sidharth.jha@benfomet.com) and a silent lady Myra (myra.o@benfomet.com).

6) A https enabled secure website - www.benfomet.com,www.khonuzo.com but the https certificate is from let's encrypt which is free and valid for 3 months, after which it has to be renewed.

7) Website actually has very few pages like 5-10 pages

8) Sun Pharma logo in fraud website varies from official website. For khonuzo pharma, which claims to be a global company and a Japanese MNC but its website has few pages and they are in English only but the English page has Japanese name in company name section on top

9) Sun pharma official career page shows no such job listing in India - https://mysunpharma.csod.com/ats/careersite/search.aspx?site=4&c=mysunpharma
10) The fraud website has back link to actual Sun Pharma official website
11) The fraudsters sends you a  confirmation email stating salary which is more or less acceptable based on current salary and you would neither negotiate nor reject, job location (Mumbai in case of Benfomet ;-)) which they ask you to confirm in writing. Once you know, you have made it and one foot is inside the main entrance of "Sun Pharma",you are all the more in a rush to complete the course, make the payment for the course.

B) A Training Institute

1) A training institute from Delhi referred by prospective Employer based in Mumbai and of the stature of Sun Pharma ( a public limited company)

2) A friendly male voice ( V K Singh, admin@skillsindiatraining.com) who stays beyond office hours to receive your payment and throws at you option after option to get the payment done

3) A payment amount which sounds reasonable using paytm (9958633235@ybl - this is not a business account, refer to your zomato,amazon,etc wallet ids), BHEEM, Bank transfer (Bank of Baroda, Dwarka Branch)

4) Invoice will be provided after making payment promise
5) Shoddy invoice containing Narendra Modi's Skill India Project logo with no GST, CIN number of institute, invoice address a generic one not they type you would see in a legal business establishment. Refer to your flipkart or amazon purchases.
6) Institute not available on google search..obviously!!;-)
7) All communication from training institute stops but "Benfomet" contacts you to know whether you are alert about the fraud or not.

You realise that the website of Benfomet (www.benfomet.com, khonuzo.com,www.arzenovo.com,www.epitril.com) is registered  less than an year back using www.whois.com with 1 year validity from godaddy.com.

In whois.com search the domain you want to learn about. In this case befomet.com . It will throw result that befomet.com is not avaialble and show alternate domain names available for buying. clicking on the whois button beside the befomet.com domain takes you to the domain information page of that fraud website. Check registration and expiry date. As frauds know that their life span is short they are not going to buy a domain for 10 years.

YOu will also not find employee reviews. I also found the same gang is posting jobs in the name of torrent pharma, novartis,khonuzo(now they have improvised, finding a way to show that the domain is purchased from Arizona) etc. It is better to learn more about a sister concern or a subsidiary from parent company's official website or from a reputed news agency article like bloomberg, Reuter, moneycontrol.com.

In order to make the fraud complete, they have registered this fake benfomet, arzenovo company in places like www.zoominfo.com. these websites are considered as leading lead sellers for top market research firms.they have created fake LinkedIn profiles.

Benfomet is a medicine brand of sun pharma. There is no company called Benfomet. As a result no one can be employed under a brand name. If you are hired as sun pharma employee, you would have looked up the career page of official sun pharma website and not of benfomet. Hence, the deception. To get recruited under benfomet, benfomet or arzenovo pharma must be registered as a company in registrar of companies(Roc) database. They require  CIN number, so does this fake skill india training institute. Without being legally existent as a company Benfomet or any "brand" of any company (let's say Tata Nano, Nano is a brand or Maruti Suzuki Alto, Alto here is a brand) can not pay your provident fund, deduct professional tax, deduct esi, etc.
