Unitron hearing aid is a brand of Sonova group from Switzerland. The same group has owned Phonak Brand hearing aids. Unitron used to exist as a Canadian hearing aid manufacturer before it was taken over by Sonova group in the year 2000.
The brand Unitron has always been known as an innovator and its innovations have made this brand as one of the fastest growing hearing aid brands of the world. Some of the technological achievements of this company are –
·         A trademarked innovation called Antishock which enabled Unitron hearing aids to identify and control sudden impulse noises without distorting environmental speech or sound.
·         Smartfocus also happens to be another trademarked Unitron innovations which allows Unitron hearing aid users to focus on the relevant sound or speech inspite of background noise.
·         Smart alert is another innovative technology included in Unitron hearing aids which allows its user to get synchronizes the hearing aid with all the sensors which are a part of household alert system.

The device manufacturer is a foreign brand and the features that have already been discussed above are some niche features and will come at a good cost. Certain features like Smart alert will come useless to average Indian user because here in India, home alert system is not common as of now.

Airtel DTH: Error B001/Error B003 and Why I left Airtel possibly for Better

Why did I decided to Leave?  It has been 2 weeks since I complained about B001 error and Airtel in between replaced 2 set top boxes but problem remained. I have replaced everything as per "diagnosis" of airtel DTH technician but no solution could be reached. Currently, my balance has been deducted from INR200 to INR 10. There are discrepancies with the bills issued against parts replacements conducted during this period. It must be stressed here that I as a customer felt cheated, neglected, harassed by Airtel +Service Partner and I was a 7-8 years+ customer.
