I had the opportunity to tour cambodia and visit ankor Wat Temple complex, possibly the largest Hindu temple complex in the world in 2019. There I have often come across wrong interpretation of Hinduism. The wrong interpretations were there in Museums, delivered by tourist guides,etc. But most of these, I now realise was from ignorance, false narrative of western authors and historians on their colonies. I was also under the influence of the fact that the Swastik symbol was taken up by Adolf Hitler and when he came to power swastika became a notorious symbol. Even by European colleagues in my last company know that swastika was a Hindu symbol and it didnt mean that harmful to us Hindus as it was for Hitler. However, during all these times from when I 1st read about ww2 in class 7 until today, thanks to our education system.
