A Bengali's Review: ponniyin selvan movie part 1

I had the opportunity of wathing this movie and I heard that this movie is a movie adaptation of a novel from the same name. The movie is worth watching and has a very engaging and complicated plot of trechery and shifting alliance alongside obedience and faithfulness. Moreover, it carried a strong undercurrent of being nationalistic and to rise above personal aspirations and the be part of the national missio, vision and value. Just the ingredients missing among the wokes of India presently. Anyways! I wouuld like to divided the the Movie into different logical segments that I identified:  Equal Rights for Women In the chola dynasty Woemn had say in affairs of politics, foreign policy and family negotiations and policy making. The Chola Emperor is seen taking advice from his daughter in the absence of his 2 sons. The same princess is seen to be coming in a room full of "male" Cheftains who were supposedly plotting to overthrow her father and breaking their plot through a co

Sustainability of Youtubers as a Life Long Profession: Focus on Travel Vloggers, Moto Vloggers

Youtubing has now become a formal profession and somewhat respected too because of the quick cash part possibly. I dont have any personal experience how much quick cash and how sustainable is it as a "career". I am sometimes quite appalled to see videos where women bathing is part of youtube and for obvious reasons garner high views, may not be subscriptions. The aforesaid example is a very extreme end of the scale, I believe. However, I am very much intrigued by travel vloggers and Moto vloggers which is a high investment work compared to shooting inside your home making funny memes or even shooting your own bathing videos and posting them on youtube as life vlogs. The first travel vlogger I started following was Mr. Varun Vagish / Mountain trekker channel. Although initially I didnt learn about his personal life or profession but he carried a sophisticated aura of an educated soft spoken person with deep insight and thought fullness in his travel approach. This is possibly

2022 Movie Review: Rocketry The Nambi Effect

I saw the movie in its original language 2 days back on amazon prime. The movie wonderfully depicted the work life and contribution and suffering Nambi Narayan faced socially, career-wise, family life and criminal proceedings. The movie scores very low in woke score. It doesnt insult Hindu customs and traditions in any way. It also highlights patriotism, self respect of an educated man and his genius in moving India from solid state fuel to liquid fuel. Building/assembling knocked down unit of 2 Russian cryogenic engines without any user manual and guidance. The movie starts with Sanskrit shloka and in the movie it has been shown that Nambi Narayan is both science minded and traditional in terms of practicing Hindu customs, traditional dresses. Much of the story is revealed in the form of an interview which Mr. Nambi Narayan is giving in a TV show. Towards the end the character of Nambi Narayan played by ace actor Madhavan transforms into actual Nambi Narayan who does a guest appearan

Review of Youtube Documentary silence of Swastik - The Biggest Betrayal of 20th century

Image
I had the opportunity to tour cambodia and visit ankor Wat Temple complex, possibly the largest Hindu temple complex in the world in 2019. There I have often come across wrong interpretation of Hinduism. The wrong interpretations were there in Museums, delivered by tourist guides, etc. But most of these, I now realise was from ignorance, false narrative of western authors and historians on their colonies. I was also under the influence of the fact that the Swastik symbol was taken up by Adolf Hitler and when he came to power swastika became a notorious symbol. Even by European colleagues in my last company know that swastika was a Hindu symbol and it didnt mean that harmful to us Hindus as it was for Hitler. However, during all these times from when I 1st read about ww2 in class 7 until today, thanks to our education system. It never occurred to my or neither any teacher made me think:- 1) why a christian man - Adolf Hitler who was born in a village to a very low level middle class pare
